About Us
I grew up in rural mid Wales, my siblings and I were educated at home, during that time we learnt about living self sufficiently in a house with no electricity or running water, I tinkered with different ways of generating electricity such as the small wind turbine that powered our home lighting. I have carried aspects of this way of living into my adult life.
I am trained as a cabinet designer and maker and also over the past 15 years I have been a part of the entertainment business. I have done street and stage performance, run workshops and have always been involved with organising shows and music events with performers, bands and djs.
One of the problems that always came up was being able to power events in rural locations without having to use noisy, polluting generators, so 8 years ago I built a 12volt PA. With a bit of tweaking and fine- tuning it is now very much enjoyed by the bands and djs that play on it and all that hear it.
Three years ago I embarked on a project to get my 12volt PA and solar powered stage and cinema onto the festival circuit. To make this possible my family and friends helped me to build up and run a successful café and organic bar at a number of festivals, weddings and other events. Starting with a small budget I had a challenge on my hands to design, find and build the unique marquee that you now see. We are pleased with the result and we are sure that you will be too.

Crowpoint Festival Newport 2006
A centenary event, to mark the opening of the transport bridge in newport. Running Bar, Cafe and Stage for 10,000 people over 2 days.
Welsh Young Carers Childen's Festival 2007
Catering and entertaining for 270 childen and carers over 2 days in Builth Wells, utilising Cafe and Cinema.
Shambala Festival Devon 2005 & 2006
Running Bar, Cafe, Stage and Cinema for 2005, and in 2006 we were the sole caters for the event, which attracts 600 people over 5 days.
Wedding in Suffolk 2007
Seating 160 guests with room to spare. Our atmospheric lighting and garden area made it a magical day for bride and groom.
